LOVE IS POETIC

this is just a Treatment
Hanging on to her life, Nanis father, at last lets Jazz, her Latin love see his Greek goddess, for the very first time in six months, will it be their last moment together.
Embraced, profoundly by his love for her, Jazz Flores, did not care he lost his immaculate loft in downtown, Boston. His good paying job with Merrill Lynch, what mattered to him, Is the constant image he sees all the time, his fiancé, Nani Zelev. He must find her, so his spirit can live once again. Jazz doesn’t care anymore if her father Mr. Mean will ever welcome his kind.
All he has to begin the search is a letter written by Nani, the very night he proposed to her, A night where the stars spelled their blessing. It took Jazz eight hours to fill his loft with red balloons, he counted 486 one of which had the engagement ring. He just stood there, immobile, with a big smile and red cheeks from blowing the balloons while Nani jumped up and down desperately, popping each balloon, and if she didn’t find the ring, there would be a piece of paper confessing his love to her. A true beautiful night was also his worse. Nani, in tears couldn’t believe it also, but she knew something was about to happen and handed him the letter, it was the last time they saw each other.
“Jazz!” yelled out, Nani, realizing she just had another nightmare but her true nightmare is her every day struggle with her parents. This time they locked her in a room unknown to reality, only a sky blue mattress crying to be replaced, and a rectangular bureau, which seems to have a devious personality. She slowly brushed back her long reddish hair (not her true color) and would attempt to fall asleep again. The only comfort she ever felt was her pillow, named Jazzy, her pale fragile face seemed so innocent upon lying down like a cocoon.
Every morning, Mrs. Mean would knock and really for no apparent reason, she knew the door was locked from the outside, still she knocked. As always she would be seeing only Nanis backside, Nani couldn’t comprehend why must she always do what father says and hated her for that, but her hate wasn’t really hate it was pity. She would try to explain to her daughter she hates the fact, her husband has gone overboard but if she ever left with him, he cautioned her “You will never see your daughter”, the look in his eyes on that cold night, shivered down her spine, she knew, he was very serious. Mrs. Mean
Hates the fact that her daughter is enduring, she knows what pain is. Growing up, her parents never supported her in any way, she was just a mistake on a very passionate night, and they had to deal with it, abortion was not on the list. When she was old enough she ran away from home and never cared about how her parents are doing and promised herself, she will be the ideal mother. Mrs. Mean tries to comfort her at times she does but that look in Nanis eyes comes back like a light switch.
Staring at the ring, Mr. Mean couldn’t believe all that was happening
to his family and all because Jazz’s skin is a different shade of color
then theirs or is it the lost of his sister (murdered by a Latin) has turned him inside out. He believes strongly, the same thing will happen to his daughter, just like his parents’, they never approved his sister’s relationship, although at that time he did, turned out to be the truth, that Latin men beat their woman. Convinced, he must take her away from him, anywhere, as long as they are not together and he knows, what once was his baby girl, will turn on him, she had after all his attitude.
Believe it or not, Mr. Mean was once a gentleman, just like Jazz.
